Opportunities for Growth as a Coach and Instructor

The Montana Taekwondo Association offers a variety of programs designed to help develop the skills of Montana’s Taekwondo coaches. First and foremost, as a Montana Taekwondo instructor and coach, you should do what you can to attend as many MTA-affiliated Taekwondo Tournaments as possible. Attending tournaments as a coach, instructor, volunteer, or spectator is a great way to gain a better understanding of the sport while also getting to know other members of the Montana Taekwondo Community.

The MTA also offers competition clinics designed specifically to help develop and improve Taekwondo coaching strategies and skills for both forms and sparring competition. There are MTA Competition Clinics held each year in cities all across Montana in support of our coaches and athletes as they prepare for State, Regional, and National competitions.
